here's something don't really get about Luke's take on religion. On the one hand, he says religion is like the backbone of the community, and if you ditch it, you're pretty much cutting yourself off from everyone. But then after few years he goes and drops the religion of his own community to pick up a totally different one. Feels kind of like a contradiction, right?
